To become a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) driver with Wingz, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Age Requirement – Must be at least 25 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License – Must have a current and active U.S. driver’s license.
• Driving History & Background Check – Must have at least 3 years of driving experience with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR) and pass a comprehensive background check.
• Drug Screening – Some markets require drivers to pass a pre-employment drug test and may conduct random screenings.
• Vehicle Requirements – Must provide a 2010 or newer vehicle that is reliable, well-maintained, and clean, meeting local NEMT standards (varies by region).
• Insurance & Registration – Must have valid personal auto insurance and vehicle registration. Some markets may require additional commercial insurance coverage.
• Smartphone & App Proficiency – Must be comfortable using the Wingz driver app for trip management, navigation, and real-time updates.
• Professionalism & Reliability – NEMT drivers transport individuals to critical medical appointments, so a strong commitment to punctuality, customer service, and reliability is essential.
